Gorleston Rangers Under 8F

The Gorleston Rangers Under 8F team were formed on 7th April 2007. The manager is Stuart Sadler, who previously set up, managed and coached the A team. Lewis, Henry, Max and Shaun also transferred to the F team from the A’s. Alex, Seb and Connor then signed up for the F team, ready for their first footballing season. Regan and Jack then completed the line up when they transferred across from Hemsby Hornets on 2nd June 2007.

We have a superbly well balanced team with pretty much all 9 players able to play in either Goal, Defence, Midfield or Attack.

We have just completed our first set of summer tournaments and have done brilliantly for such a new team. The highlights were 2nd in a league of 9 at the Bungay tournament, Runners-up at the St Benets tournament, losing Quarter Finalists (on penalties) at Waveney and a trip to watch Norwich v West Ham.

All 9 boys have made terrific progress, both individually and as a team, but most importantly they are really enjoying being part of this team and all 9 boys get on really, really well.

In addition, we have a terrific set of parents who really know how to have a good time, both during the football and outside of football!

As a team we have also been lucky enough to get AIA (Andrew Panteli) as our sponsor and we have also had financial help from both parents and grandparents which is all very much appreciated.
