The team started together last season in a non competitive league, with Brad, Jay, Lee and Tom still remaining from that original team, we have added another four quality players Callum, Henry, Spud and Mitch to our band of merry men.
After introducing four new players to the squad, we took time to adjust to playing together which is only to be expected, but after each game we improved bit by bit and eventually we took some silverware at Hemsby Hornets and Caister Roma tournaments running out winners on both occasions, in total we played in nine tournaments, Gorleston fc group stages, ST Andrews final runners up to Lakeford golden goal, our own tournament group stages, Football in the commuinity quarter finals losing to East coast warriors, Salhouse semi`s losing to Norwich united, Pakefield semi`s losing to Gorleston fc, Hemsby Hornets winners 3-2 v Waveney A, Caister Roma winners 2-1 v Hemsby Hornets and finally Waveney semi`s going down to Pakefield A on penalties.
All in all, the squad have played some quality football this summer,we are coming together as a very solid team, keep up the hard work boys and together we can look forward to a new season at a competitive level in NSYL division 1.
